International Waiting Children

Hands Across The Water maintains a list of children in various countries that are waiting for families. These children may have a special need, be older, or may simply be healthy but no families are available.

Hands Across The Water is searching for extraordinary families who have the desire to give a child with special needs the love and stability of a family. Please consider opening your heart and home to a child that is older, or has siblings, or has physical special needs. These are the children who desperately need a family. Your family.

Hands Across The Water has made it our policy not to photo list these children or put a child on hold for a family that is not ready with their documents. If you are interested in seeing or discussing our list of available children, and are paper ready, please contact our office at 734-477-0135. We would be very happy to discuss the children and the process with you.

We currently have lists of special needs waiting children in Uganda, Hong Kong, Lithuania and Peru.
