community resources

Hands Across The Water is grateful to know of so many amazing resources that are available to families and individuals in the state of Michigan. Check here for state-wide resources or scroll down to see resource lists specific to the Southeast Michigan counties that HATW serves.

Any Michigan resident with a public library card (free with proof of a Michigan address) is able to use the Michigan Activity Pass! here is what they say about this wonderful opportunity:

"Did you know that your library card can be your best travel companion? Discover hundreds of Michigan's cultural destinations and natural attractions with your Michigan library card! You can check out FREE or discounted admission passes (or other exclusive offers) to hundreds of Michigan state parks, campgrounds, museums, trails, arts, and cultural destinations, and more."

The MAP program kicked off on May 24, 2019 for its 12th season. Locate a public library near you here.
