Those experiencing an unintended pregnancy may feel confused or overwhelmed. They might not know what to do. Our pregnancy options counselor provides individual pregnancy counseling sessions to help individuals explore their options of parenting, adoption, or abortion, and make a well informed decision. These counseling sessions are free of charge to the pregnant individual. 

We want you to feel empowered making a well informed decision that is right for you.

Talking with our pregnancy options counselor is a non-judgmental and unbiased discussion designed to educate and assist individuals facing an unintended pregnancy. All options will be explored. We want to help you to make the best decision for you. We feel that this can only happen when you are equipped with complete information and full understanding of your resources and options.

Meetings with a pregnancy options counselor can take place in a location comfortable for you. This may be in your home, at our office, or another location you feel works best for you.

If you are pregnant, you have three options:

  1. You can choose to have the baby and parent your child;

  2. ​You can choose to have the baby and make an adoption plan for your child;

  3. ​Or, you can choose abortion.

Only you can decide what is the right choice for you.

A pregnancy options counselor is someone who is unbiased and is trained to educate and assist individuals facing an unintended pregnancy.  At Hands Across The Water, our pregnancy counselor can help you explore the options of parenting, adoption, and abortion, as well as exploring community resources, helping empower you to make the decision you feel is best.


Trusted family members and friends can also be great resources. Even though it is your decision to make, it is helpful to know who will support you throughout your pregnancy and your decision making process.
